We reimagined the Schweppes brand identity with a focus on its key markets in Africa and the Middle East, where it’s celebrated as a refreshing, non-alcoholic party drink. Our aim was to elevate the brand’s premium appeal across their range of flavoured drinks. We designed a bold, confident visual system that clearly separates flavoured and malt categories, while allowing flexibility to meet various regulatory standards and printing limitations within the area.
We experimented with different ways of depicting the fruits on the cans. This ranged from graphic to realistic. With printing limitations in the region we knew that the best result would be a graphic, illustrative route. The result is a dynamic and fresh illustration style that utilises the angle of the Schweppes sash.
